01What Codelock is
Codelock is a companion for Rust. It connects to your server through Rust+ — Facepunch’s official companion, the same one the mobile app uses — and watches your base and team while you are not in the game.
- Smart Alarm alarms, deaths and teammates coming online — in Telegram, Discord, the browser and the game chat.
- Turrets, lights, doors — as a group from the site, from a notification card or with a chat command.
- A live team map, player tracking, commands in the game chat.
Codelock does not touch the game and reads nothing beyond what Rust+ shows. We never see your Steam password.
The order is: sign in with Steam → access → the browser extension → connect Rust+ → pair the server in the game → notification channels. The dashboard overview has a "First steps" checklist that ticks off what is done.
